Privacy Policy
We collect only the information needed to process your order, ship it, and let you know when it’s on the way. No data mining, no selling to third parties, no marketing lists you didn’t sign up for.
In short: We use your data to fulfill your purchase and to improve our service. That’s it. We don’t share it with advertisers, brokers, or anyone else unless required by law.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number (for shipping carriers)
- Shipping address: street, city, state, postal code, country
- Payment information: processed entirely through our payment gateway—we never store full credit card numbers on our servers
- Order history: which items you purchased, so we can handle returns and answer questions about your order
If you create an account, we also store your saved addresses and order history for your convenience. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.
How we use your information
- Order fulfillment: to process, pack, and ship your order
- Communication: order confirmations, shipping updates, and replies to your questions
- Returns and exchanges: to process refunds or replacements when needed
- Fraud prevention: to verify payment details and prevent unauthorized transactions
- Improvement: we may use aggregated, anonymized data to understand which products are popular or where shipping delays occur—but this never identifies individual customers
What we don’t do
- Sell or rent your data – never have, never will
- Send promotional emails without your explicit opt-in. If you signed up for our newsletter, you can unsubscribe in one click.
- Track you across the web – we use basic analytics to see which pages are visited, but we don’t build profiles or retarget ads across other sites
- Store payment details – all payment processing is handled by Stripe or PayPal, depending on your choice. They have their own privacy and security policies.
Cookies and tracking
We use minimal cookies:
- Essential cookies: to keep your shopping cart active, remember your preferences, and enable secure checkout
- Analytics cookies: we use a lightweight analytics tool to see aggregate traffic patterns—this data is anonymized and does not identify individual users
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site profiling. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the site may not function correctly during checkout.
Who we share data with
We share only the minimum necessary data with service providers who help us run the business:
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, DHL) – your name and address for delivery
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) – your payment details and order total
- Email service – only if you opt into our newsletter, we use a third-party provider to send those emails
All of these providers are contractually bound to use your data only for the specific service they provide, and they cannot share or sell it.
Data security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your information:
- All data transmitted between your browser and our site is encrypted with TLS
- Access to customer data is restricted to team members who need it for order fulfillment or customer support
- We regularly review our systems for vulnerabilities and apply security patches
While no system is 100% secure, we follow industry standards and best practices to minimize risk.
Your rights
If you’re a resident of California, the EU, or other regions with specific privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request corrections to inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations like tax record keeping)
- Opt out of any marketing communications
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@everydaywear.com. We’ll respond within the legally required timeframe and provide clear answers.
Third-party links
Our site may link to external services (payment gateways, carriers, etc.). Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them. We are not responsible for how third parties handle your data.
Changes to this policy
We keep this policy updated as our practices evolve or as regulations change. If we make significant changes, we’ll note it on this page and, if the change affects how we use your existing data, we’ll notify you by email.
